Byron A. Gronseth now offers private, custom-tailored learning sessions for basic design methodology, principles and instruction for design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. The lessons will give you a greater understanding and broadening of your capabilities/technique, as well as underlying philosophy and best practices for creating and building work that suits your needs. These sessions are helpful for individuals with specific goals and objectives, and great for learning how to do specific tasks such as promoting special events, adding sophistication to social media properties, or taking care of small to medium creative tasks that often are just out of reach for modern professionals.

For deeper, more effective learning and real growth in skills and comprehension, I would recommend a short series of lessons with homework in between to actually practice and get some critique so you can learn where to improve. Keep in mind, in addition to technical skills and experience, critique & opinion are the most valuable services I can offer. Bring me something and I will tell you what works and what doesn't, WHY it does or doesn't work, and what could be done to improve it. This perspective is one of the primary values of critique and discussion, and is critical to self-improvement.

Pricing for technical instruction sessions ranges depending on scope, but generally expect to pay $200 for a two hour private lesson for one individual, $500 for either a half-day (four hours including exercises) or a two-part session spread out between two weeks with homework between sessions. We can also fully customize a lesson plan tailored to your needs and budget, but pricing is based on a $100/hr rate.
